Kangaroo Valley Model

the finer details

ArchiPrint utilises the latest in 3D printing technology, which is unlike anything you will have seen before. Unlike most domestic or commercial 3D printers, which extrude plastic filaments, the technology used by ArchiPrint acts as a giant inkjet printer, sequentially printing onto layers of a very fine gypsum to create models in full gradient colour and in extreme detail.

The possibilities are almost limitless, so please ask us about how we can bring your 3D model into the physical world.

Resolution

The model is built up in tiny 0.1mm layers meaning that very fine details, including text, can be reproduced.

Size

The maximum build tray size of the printer is 381 x 254 x 203mm, but that is certainly not a limitation as segments can be joined to create much larger models.

Colour

Models are able to be printed in full CMYK gradient colour, or if you prefer single colour or the more traditional white.

Shape

If you can produce a 3D CAD model of your design we will more then likely be able to make it a reality. There are no limitations on complex shapes!

CAD

We work with a variety of Architectural 3D CAD software packages including ArchiCAD, Revit and SketchUp. If you use another software package or don't have a 3D CAD model, please contact us to see what we can do.

Material

Our models are made of a gypsum type material giving it a sandstone type texture. The models are not brittle, but should be treated with care.
