Kangaroo Valley Model

how it's done

You will be amazed just how easy it is to have your models 3D printed! The simple fact is that by designing in 3D you have already done most of the work… making 3D printing a cheap and fast alternative to traditional model making techniques.

1. Quote

Visit the contact page of the website and let us know the details of your model. You will be asked about the scale, size and timeframe you require so that we can figure out how to best meet your requirements.

As we are essentially using your data to create the model it is very important that we can get a copy of it early, to provide an accurate quotation. The higher quality the model, the less optimisation it will require and the less it costs. If you cannot provide a 3D model at this stage please provide some perspective views so that we know what we are working with and we will give you an estimate of costs until such time as we can properly assess the model.

We may come back to you with a few questions, or suggestions but generally quotes can be turned around the same or next day.

2. Optimise

You have already done the bulk of the work in creating your 3D model for design or documentation; there are just a few bits of optimisation, which need to be done before the model is ready for 3D printing.

Depending on the size and quality of your 3D model, we can turn around most models in 10-15 business days. Much quicker then traditional model makers! If your program is tight please let us know so that we can prioritise it for you.

3. Print

Your model will now be printed and delivered to your door. Just that easy!

4. Share

The fourth step is to share how much you love your model! When you receive it please show it off to clients, friends and family… we know you will want to. If you are on Facebook, Twitter or any other social media please share your model and tag us in it!
